Everything the Soulframe companion app can do, section by section. This is the same guide built into the app, so it always matches the current version.
Welcome, Envoy. Little Genius is your companion for Soulframe โ a tracker, planner, and reference tool built for those who like to stay on top of their progress. This guide covers every view and feature so you always know where to look.
The left edge holds the navigation bar โ each icon takes you to a different view. The right sidebar shows timers, resources, and crafting info at a glance. Most panels have a search bar so you can filter down to what you're looking for quickly.
When the game is active, inventory, resources, and craft timers update automatically โ no manual entry needed. The status badge in the sidebar tells you whether you're Live (synced), Stale (cached from last session), or Waiting.
Every major view has a search bar. Type any part of an item name to filter the list. The sidebar search also filters all cards in the active tab. Searches reset when you change views.
Some cards and rows have extra actions tucked behind a right-click. A small visual hint tells you when that's the case.
A dashed yellow outline around a card or row means right-clicking it opens a context menu with extra actions โ usually pinning, sometimes more.
Right-click any highlighted card or row to see the menu appear. It closes on Escape or by clicking elsewhere.
Item cards, resource tiles, enhancement rows, faction cards, joinery cards, and world boss timers all support it.
Your data stays on your device. Everything Little Genius tracks is stored locally โ nothing is shared or transmitted without your explicit consent. Your progress, builds, and settings belong to you alone.
Inventory, crafting timers, standings, and profile data are cached on your machine only. The cache is encrypted and tied to your device. Closing the app or rebooting your PC does not delete it.
Your item check-marks, resource pins, pinned bosses, and build saves are stored in your browser's local storage. They stay between sessions automatically.
Signing in with Discord lets Little Genius recognize your Patreon tier so your supporter perks activate automatically. It is completely optional โ every core feature works without an account. Your Discord data is used only to verify your tier.
Open the User Panel and scroll to the bottom. The Delete All Data button wipes every cached file and local setting. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
The home view shows every weapon, armor piece, and pact in Soulframe. Toggle items as you earn or craft them, filter by type or mastery status, and watch your completion counters climb.
Click any item card to open it. Inside, cycle through Not owned โ Crafted โ Mastered. Your totals update in real time at the top of the page. When synced, your actual ownership updates these marks automatically.
Right-click any item card to open a quick context menu. From there you can pin the item to the top of its group โ handy for gear you're actively chasing.
Toggle between grid (image cards) and list (compact table) using the icons near the top of the view. List mode adds sortable columns โ click a column header to sort by name, mastery XP, or other fields.
In Settings, turn on Hide Mastered Items to remove fully-mastered gear from the catalog view. Useful once your collection fills up and you only want to see what's left.
The search bar at the top filters by item name. The view also groups weapons by weapon class โ scroll down to see all groups, or use the collapse buttons to hide groups you're done with.
The progress bar at the top tracks how many items across each category you own or have mastered. Hover the bar for a detailed breakdown of owned vs. mastered vs. total.
Enhancements are the passive Totems and active Rune slots that modify how your builds play. Track which ones you have, see their stat boosts, and plan your upgrade path.
Totems are passive enhancements that slot into your build for constant stat bonuses. Each Totem has multiple rank tiers โ the Enhancement view shows your current rank and what upgrading to the next tier costs.
Runes are active enchantments triggered during combat. They work similarly to Totems but have activation conditions. Track your owned Runes and their ranks in the same view.
Each card shows the ingredient cost to upgrade to the next rank. Cross-reference with the Resources tab in the sidebar to see how many of each material you currently have.
Right-click any Totem or Rune row to pin it to the top of the list. Pinned enhancements stay visible even when you change the sort or filter.
The Cosmetics view tracks appearance items โ avatar motifs, emotes, transmog skins, and other collectibles. Filter by type and mark what you own.
Avatar motifs are the glyph images that appear on your profile. When synced, your active motif appears in the sidebar header automatically.
Toggle cosmetic items the same way as weapons โ use the toggle on each card. Cosmetics don't have mastery tiers so it's a simple owned / not owned mark.
Use the filter tabs to narrow down to a specific cosmetic category. The search bar also works across all cosmetic names.
The Armory is a build planner. Create, save, and share loadouts that combine a weapon, armor, pacts, totems, and runes โ all in one place.
Click New Build (or the + button). Give it a name, then use the slot selectors to pick your weapon, armor, pacts, totems, and runes. The build saves locally as soon as you confirm.
Each slot opens an item picker with search and filter. Items you own are highlighted so you can see at a glance what's available to you right now.
When synced, your current active loadouts appear alongside your saved builds so you can compare theory vs. practice.
Every saved build can be exported as a short build code โ a string you can paste into chat, Discord, or a guide. Others can import it by pasting the code into the Armory import field.
Build codes are shareable text strings that encode a complete Armory loadout. Share your builds with other players or import builds you find in guides.
Open any saved build in the Armory and click the Share button. The code is copied to your clipboard โ paste it anywhere to share.
In the Armory, click Import Build and paste the code. Little Genius decodes it and creates a new saved build for you automatically. Items that you don't own yet are still shown; they're just not highlighted.
The Item Chest shows every dropped weapon in your inventory โ the actual copies you've picked up, not just catalog ownership. Filter by temper type, rarity tier, or Moonsteel variant to find exactly what you're looking for.
Unlike the catalog (which tracks one entry per weapon type), the Item Chest shows every individual copy you own โ including duplicates with different quality tiers or tempers.
Use the filter panel to narrow down by star rarity tier, specific temper combinations, or to show only Moonsteel (Shiny) variants. Filters can be combined.
Sort by name, when the item was dropped (newest or oldest), mastery XP progress, or rarity. Useful for finding your oldest duplicate when deciding what to keep.
Each weapon card shows a mastery progress bar. Maxed-out weapons (100% XP) are visually distinct so you know exactly what still needs gameplay.
The Journal records every gameplay session automatically. See stats, loot, and mission history for each session without having to remember what you did.
Each time you play, a new session entry is created. The Journal lists them chronologically with a summary of kills, income, time played, and loot.
Click any session to expand it. You'll see a full breakdown of kills by weapon, enemy types encountered, resources picked up, and more.
Sessions can be exported as CSV files for your own tracking or to share with your squad. Use the Export button on any session row.
Individual session logs can be opened in a separate window โ handy for referencing a past run while playing without switching tabs.
The Stats view shows your overall player profile: time played, mastery rank, weapon usage history, faction standings over time, and enemy codex progress.
Your current Mastery Rank (MR) is shown in the sidebar header as an MR badge. The Stats view shows the full picture โ total XP, current rank, and what's needed to reach the next.
See which weapons you've used most, ranked by kills, assists, headshots, and time equipped. Great for discovering your actual playstyle vs. what you planned.
Track how many of each enemy type you've faced. The codex grows as you encounter new enemies in the world.
The Market view opens the Avakot trading hub โ a player-driven marketplace for Soulframe items. Browse listings, check prices, and plan trades without leaving Little Genius.
The Market shows current player listings for weapons, mods, and resources. Use the search and category filters to find specific items.
When running in a browser, clicking Market opens the Avakot Market in a new tab. In the native app, it embeds directly so you can reference your inventory at the same time.
Soulmap is an interactive map of the Soulframe world. Use it to find boss locations, gathering spots, points of interest, and navigation landmarks.
Click any boss marker on the map to see its location and any relevant notes. Boss timers in the sidebar link back to the Soulmap when a location is known.
Boss timer cards that have a map icon will navigate directly to that location on Soulmap when clicked. The map remembers the deep link so you don't lose your place.
In the browser version, Soulmap opens in a new tab. In the native app it's embedded โ you can switch between it and the rest of Little Genius without losing your position.
The Events tab keeps every Envoy on top of recurring activity โ world boss windows, daily resets, the Avakot Cycle, and Wevetseed refills. All timers count down in real time.
Each boss card shows the time until that boss's next available window. When a window opens, the timer flips to show how long it stays up. Native builds read server-authoritative timers; the web version uses a manual start timer.
A countdown to the daily UTC midnight reset lives at the top of the tab. Standing caps, daily missions, and similar daily limits all reset at this time.
Avakot is a vendor whose inventory refreshes on a fixed cycle throughout the day. The timer shows how long until the next refresh โ useful for planning when to visit.
Your Wevetseed stock refills on a 12-hour timer. If the game is running, the timer tracks from when you actually used your seeds. The card shows how many you currently have.
Right-click any boss card (or use the pin icon) to pin it to the top of the tab. Pinned cards stay visible at a glance. Drag pinned cards to reorder them. Pinning more than five cards is a Patreon supporter feature.
Toggle the notification bell on any boss card to get a desktop alert when that boss becomes available. The Avakot Cycle and Wevetseed also have their own notification toggles.
The Resources tab tallies how many of each crafting material you need across all your tracked recipes, and shows how many you currently have. Spot shortfalls at a glance.
Each resource card shows the total amount needed (summed across every recipe you're tracking) next to how many you currently have. When you're short, the count turns red.
When synced, resource counts update automatically. No manual entry needed.
Toggle the Missing switch next to the search bar to hide resources you already have enough of. Great for making a focused farming list.
Right-click any resource card to pin or unpin it instantly. Pinned resources always appear at the top. Free users can pin up to five; Patreon supporters get unlimited pins. Drag pinned items to reorder them.
Joineries are binding materials that socket into weapons to add stat bonuses. The Joineries tab tracks which tiers you own and shows weapon-type compatibility.
Joineries come in four tiers: Rusted, Tempered, Polished, and Blessed. Higher tiers provide stronger bonuses. Track your owned tiers using the counter on each card.
Each joinery card lists which weapon types it can be used with (Longswords, Bows, etc.). Use this to find joineries that match your current loadout.
Click a joinery card to expand it and see the full stat list and flavor text. Stats are color-coded by virtue type (Courage, Grace, Spirit).
Right-click any joinery card to pin or unpin it. Pinned joineries stay at the top of the list. The same five-pin free limit applies; Patreon supporters get unlimited pins.
The Standings tab shows your current reputation rank with each faction and how much standing you can still earn today before the daily cap resets.
Each faction has a daily cap on how much standing you can earn. The Standings tab shows exactly how much you have left to spend today, so you know whether it's worth running more missions.
Each faction card shows your current rank, the standing threshold for the next rank, and a progress bar showing how far along you are.
Right-click any faction card to pin it to the top of the Standings tab. Useful if you grind one faction heavily and want it always in view.
The Ode Syndicate works differently from other factions โ it uses a cumulative standing total rather than per-rank tiers. Its progress bar reflects the overall infamy cap.
A countdown timer shows when the daily standing cap resets (UTC midnight). Plan your end-of-day sessions around this.
The Foundry tab mirrors what's currently in your in-game Foundry โ active craft timers, items ready to claim, and quick access to batch-craft consumables.
When a craft is active, a countdown appears in the Foundry tab automatically. When the timer hits zero, the card flips to "Ready to Claim".
Expand any active craft card to see the full ingredient list and how many of each you had when the craft started.
Enable craft notifications(in Settings) to get a desktop alert when a timed craft finishes. You'll never forget a craft waiting in the Foundry again.
The thin strip just below the date in the sidebar shows the Midrath world cycle โ three alternating phases (Saphene, Mora, Iridis) that change the character of gameplay in the world.
Three icons scroll across the strip representing the three cycle phases. The active phase is highlighted and slightly enlarged. The strip moves in real time as the cycle progresses.
The text to the right of the strip shows "Day in X:XX" or "Night in X:XX" โ the time until the next day/night transition within the current cycle phase.
Each phase has a color: Saphene is blue (Grace), Mora is red (Courage), Iridis is green (Spirit). These match the virtue colors used throughout the app.
Bind keyboard shortcuts to app actions. Hotkeys fire system-wide โ they work even while a game or other window has focus.
F4 cycles through the right sidebar tabs (Events โ Resources โ Joineries). You can rebind it or remove it entirely from the Keybinds panel.
F1 opens this Guide. Unlike other hotkeys it only fires while the app window is focused, not system-wide.
Open Account & Settings and switch to the Keybinds panel. Click a key badge to rebind โ press any key or combo (Ctrl, Alt, Shift + key). Click ร on a row to remove a binding. Press Escape to cancel capture.
Click Add Hotkey at the bottom of the Keybinds panel to bind any available action. More actions will be added over time.
Settings let you tailor Little Genius to how you play. Most changes take effect immediately without a restart.
Removes fully-mastered items (MR toggle at stage 3) from the catalog view. Keeps the home view clean when your collection is filling up.
By default, the Resources tab only shows materials needed for items you're tracking. Enable this to see your full resource inventory.
Hides items that are no longer obtainable in the current version of the game (retired or founders-only). Keeps completion percentages realistic.
Switch the default display mode for the catalog between image cards (grid) and the compact sortable table (list). You can also toggle this directly in each view.
Enable desktop alerts for world boss windows and craft completions. Toggle per-boss on each timer card, and enable craft notifications for the Foundry here.
Keep Little Genius active after you close the window. The app stays in the system tray and continues tracking timers and inventory.
Adjust the overall UI scale between 75% and 125%. Useful on high-DPI displays or if text feels too small or too large. Also accessible via the ยฑ5% stepper in the User Panel.
Supporting Avakot.org on Patreon keeps the apps running and unlocks a handful of quality-of-life features. All core tracking functionality is and will forever be free.
Free users see a small ad panel and occasional Patreon prompts. Supporters see neither โ the app stays clean and uninterrupted.
Free users can pin up to 5 items in any panel(bosses, resources, joineries). Supporters get unlimited pins so you can surface exactly what you farm most.
Drag the left edge of the right sidebar to make it wider or narrower. Double-click the handle to reset to the default width. Your preferred width is saved between sessions.
Supporters get a direct line to the dev โ submit feature requests, flag bugs with priority, and vote on what lands next. The roadmap is shaped by the people who use it most.
After pledging on Patreon, link your Discord account on the Patreon settings page. Then sign into Little Genius with the same Discord account. Your tier is recognized automatically.
If you've been using Little Genius for a while without signing in, you'll occasionally see a prompt about Patreon. You can dismiss it at any time โ it only appears on the web version.
